Professor Michael Neuberger (Chairman)

Joint Head of the Division of Protein and Nucleic Acid Chemistry, Medical Research Council (MRC) Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, and a fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge.

His research interests include immunity and DNA deamination.


Professor John Danesh

is Professor of Epidemiology and Medicine, University of Cambridge, Head of the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, University of Cambridge, Honorary Co-Director of the Strangeways Research Laboratory, Cambridge, and is the UK Department of Health's representative on the Science Committee of the UK Biobank.

His research interests include the biochemical and genetic determinants of cardiovascular disease in large-scale epidemiological studies.


Professor Anthony Green

is Professor of Haematological Oncology, University of Cambridge and a fellow of Queens College, Cambridge.

His research interests include haematopoietic stem cells and leukaemia.


Professor David McKay

is Professor of Natural Philosophy and a Gatsby Senior Research Fellow, Department of Physics, Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge.

His research interests include Bayesian probability theory and its application to inference problems.


Professor Steve O’Rahilly

is Professor of Metabolic Medicine, University of Cambridge, and a fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge.

His research interest include clinical studies of obesity and insulin resistance, and how these two phenomena interlink to predispose to metabolic disease especially in type 2 diabetes.


Professor Ashok Ventikaraman

is the Ursula Zoellner Professor of Cancer Research, University of Cambridge, and a fellow of New Hall College, Cambridge.

His research interests include chromosomal instability and cancer - translating molecular insights to clinical practice.
